Real GeoIP2 data

We use the MaxMind GeoIP2 database, the industry standard. Some "what is my IP" sites use stale free databases that haven't been updated in years.

IPv6 supported

When you have IPv6 connectivity, we show it. Many similar tools still only display IPv4.

API for programmatic use

If you need IP lookup in a script, there's a simple JSON endpoint. No API key for moderate use.
